  1. Chris I am new to PSP and enjoy your tutorials and blog. But just found your site. You say you have made several tutorials for beginners. Is there a list anywhere I can progressively go through to learn the basics? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

    1. Hey Leon. Most of the videos I have done go over basic understanding of tools and some techniques. I think about 90% of my tutorials thus far have been geared towards the beginner level. I do not have a seperate video section dedicated to just basics. You would have to search on my YouTube channel if you wanted to find a particular video. I in the future will start to make video sections named beginner, advanced and so on. Thanks for your question and I am glad I can help. 🙂

  2. im new to the whole photoshop stuff and was wondering if you could do a video on adding pictures to a picture on photoshop pro x7 please or if you have can you let me know please. i would love to learn how to add pictures of my son with us, as he is no longer with us 😦 that would be helpful, and i love your videos 🙂

    1. Hey Jacquelyn. I did do a video in cutting something out into a new layer. I can do a video showing how to do that. It is pretty simple. I will make sure that is on my list. Thanks for your comment and hope to continue to provide good content for you and everyone else. Thanks! 😄

  3. Hi Chris. I love your vids. Don’t get out with my camera anything like as much as I should do, so I’m still a novice – have been for 30 years! Can you tell me if there’s an easy way, in PSP X 7, to get those sun-bleached summer tones, a bit like in this video…

    Many Thanks.

    1. Hey Mike. I looked at the video and I think I get what you are asking for. Do you happen to have a better reference such as a photograph of the style you are wanting to emulate? Thanks for your question and nice comment. 😊 I’ll see what I can do.

  4. It’s so good of you to respond so quickly.

I saw some of this guys work…

and thought he was great. Would love to be able to re-create this look.

    Thank you so much.

    1. Ok cool. It has a retro style look to it. Sort of what the saturated color style of film from the 60’s &70’s. Those photographs definitely give me a better reference to look at. I’ll work up a tutorial for it. Their are several ways to do that effect. Thanks Mike. ☺

  5. Great blog, Chris, and I’m enjoying the YouTube videos too. I’m just starting out with PaintShop Pro. I have X8. There is a technique I’m missing in PSP that I use in Gimp, and that is working with luminosity masks. Do you a tutorial for to make these masks in PSP? I’ve tried a few things but don’t quite seem to get it right.

  6. HI, I`m a big fan of you, can you tell me how to change a foto to animation format using PS Pro 7 ultimate ? thanx Chris

  7. Hi Chris, thank you for your video tutorials, they are the best I’ve found on the Internet. I am new to PSP and just purchased PSPx8. I am having trouble with layers. Sometimes when I add another layer, it doesn’t add it to the layers I’m already using or it adds another layer when I make a change. Any suggestions?

  8. Chris,
I’ve recently discovered your PSP videos online and am convinced you should be teaching at a university somewhere. Great job!

Today I came across this headline:
“Google makes its $149 Nik Collection of photography tools completely free”

While the set of plug-ins were designed for Photoshop & Lightroom, I’ve had no luck getting them to load with PSP. Are you familiar with this set and is it worth the effort of getting them to load in PSP. I know there is a way – nearly every Adobe plug-in works with PSP. Correct?

Keep up the good work, and thanks for all information you share.
